IF I HAD GOD'S EAR is a suite of eight songs. I wrote them all. Each is a snapshot of a person praying. They pray for help; they pray for understanding; they pray to say “thank you.” Their prayers are conversational, heartfelt and home-made. They've bypassed liturgy and theology in favor of direct appeal. No incense or stained glass - just the hope that someone is listening. 

My friend Pablo Mayor produced the recording. Pablo is a gifted, accomplished, thoughtful and sympathetic musician; his ears and his heart are wide open. He imagined and then created all the arrangements; he organized and conducted the musicians, played a variety of keyboards and supervised the recording, mixing and mastering. His contribution to this project is profound, and I am enormously grateful to him.

Pablo is the Artistic Director of Folklore Urbano NYC.
