THIS IS WHY I'M HERE
I am a songwriter and guitarist from the Hudson River Valley in New York. My musical touchstones are the great American songbook, traditional American music and the rock, blues and folk music I grew up with.
I love live music - making it, hearing it, feeling it. And, while concerts are great, and recordings are great, there's nothing like people sitting around facing each other and making music together.
And there's nothing like a good song. I try to make as much music as I can, but it's the songs I've written that make the most difference to me. I'm proud of them.
It's an honor to be able to play music. And it's even more of an honor to hear someone say, "Hey, Tom - I really liked that song of yours." I'm a lucky man.
